Treatment Questions
What is the best treatment center for addiction and mental health?
The best treatment center is one that offers every level of care under one clinical team, treats co-occurring mental health conditions on-site, and uses evidence-based therapy. Courage Recovery Network was built to meet that standard at every location.
What is dual diagnosis?
Dual diagnosis means having a substance use disorder and a mental health condition at the same time. Roughly half of people with addiction have a co-occurring condition, and treating both together is essential.
How long is rehab?
Most clients spend 30 to 90 days across detox, inpatient, and PHP, then several months in IOP and outpatient. Length is determined clinically.
Is treatment confidential?
Yes. Your records are protected by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, which provides additional protection for substance use treatment.
Can I visit a loved one in treatment?
Yes. Each location has scheduled family visitation and family therapy sessions, which we encourage.
What is trauma-informed care?
Trauma-informed care means every staff member understands how trauma affects behavior and recovery, and the program is designed to create safety and avoid re-traumatization. It is the baseline at every Courage Recovery Network location.
Do you offer medication-assisted treatment?
Yes. Buprenorphine, naltrexone, acamprosate, and other FDA-approved medications are available with therapy.
What is the difference between PHP and IOP?
PHP is 5 to 6 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week. IOP is about 3 hours a day, 3 to 5 days a week. PHP is more intensive and usually comes first.
