Who Inpatient Treatment is for

People with moderate to severe substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, prior relapses in outpatient care, or unstable home environments that make early recovery unsafe.

What to expect

Individual therapy, multiple daily groups, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, family sessions, trauma-informed therapy, and wellness programming. Every client receives a psychiatric evaluation and a written treatment plan within the first days of care, and that plan is reviewed weekly with you.

How Inpatient fits the continuum of care

Courage Recovery Network is one of the few programs that offers every level of care under one clinical team. That matters because the transitions between levels are where most people fall out of treatment. After Inpatient, most clients step down to partial hospitalization program (php) with the same therapists, the same psychiatrist, and the same case manager.

Dual diagnosis at the Inpatient level

Mental health conditions do not pause while you get sober. At the Inpatient level, our psychiatrists and therapists actively treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and schizoaffective disorder alongside substance use. Learn more about our dual diagnosis program.
