What is the family program?
Addiction affects the whole family, and recovery goes better when the family heals too. Every Courage Recovery Network location offers family therapy, family education sessions, and scheduled visitation. Families learn how addiction works, how to set boundaries, how to support recovery without enabling, and how to rebuild trust.
Family therapy
Sessions with your loved one and their therapist, in person or by video, to work through conflict and rebuild communication.
Family education
Weekly sessions covering the disease model of addiction, co-occurring mental health, relapse warning signs, and boundaries.
Visitation
Scheduled visiting hours at every inpatient location, typically beginning after the first week.
After discharge
Family members are included in aftercare planning. Alumni family groups continue after treatment ends.
